An SOP consultant who fixes the process before the software

Automating a broken process only makes the mess arrive faster. Here we work as your SOP consultant: we redesign how work moves between people, then write the procedure your team will actually follow.

Platforms we use here
01 Service

Why the process comes before the software

Most bottlenecks in a company of 10 to 100 people are not technical. Work stops at a hand-off, waits for an approval nobody defined, or gets done twice because two people assumed it was theirs.

No tool repairs that. Software copies whatever logic it finds, so a confused process becomes a confused system with a monthly subscription attached.

Often the fastest win in an action plan needs no software at all. It costs nothing to run afterwards, which is why we put it first when the plan calls for it.

02 Service

What we deliver

Business process documentation that someone can open on a Tuesday and use, not a binder that ages in a shared drive.

  • A map of the real process. How the work moves today, with the waiting time at each step.
  • The redesigned flow. Fewer hand-offs, clearer triggers, and the decisions pushed to the person closest to the work.
  • Written SOPs. One per procedure, in plain language, short enough that a new hire finishes it.
  • An owner and a number per step. Who answers for it, and what tells you it is going wrong.

Everything lands in the tools your team already opens, usually the same place your documentation lives today.

What a bad SOP looks like

Fourteen pages written by someone who never did the job. Nobody reads it, so the team keeps working from memory and the document quietly becomes fiction.

Ours get written next to the people doing the work, tested by someone who has never done it, then cut until only the parts that change behavior survive.

How we work

The Brave Process applies here too: diagnose first, then change one flow at a time and watch what it does. Small doses, closer to acupuncture than surgery. The method is laid out in the process section.

We stay while the new flow beds in, because a procedure nobody follows in week three was never finished.

05 Service

What it costs and how long it takes

Fixed price once we know the scope, agreed before anyone starts. There is no monthly fee attached, because the result is a way of working rather than a piece of software.

A single process usually takes one to two weeks. Departments with several tangled flows take longer. The figure comes from the AI and operations audit and is credited against whatever you contract next.

06 Service

When this is not the right service

If your process is already clean and the pain is pure volume, go straight to automation. Paying to document something that works is a slow way to spend money.

Certification is the other limit. Our SOPs give an ISO audit a solid starting point, though we are not certifiers and we will not pretend the stamp comes with them.

07 Questions

What people ask before they start.

How long does a process redesign take?

One to two weeks for a single process. A whole department with several tangled flows usually runs three to five weeks.

Who actually writes the SOPs?

We do, sitting with the people who run the work today. Your team reviews every procedure before it becomes the official version.

What format do the procedures come in?

Living documents in the tool your company already uses, such as Notion or your shared drive. They are meant to be edited, not archived.

What happens when the process changes?

Your owner updates the document, which is why each step has a name next to it. We hand over the editing standard so changes stay consistent.

Does this work for an ISO audit?

It gives an auditor a serious starting point, with owners and metrics already in place. We are not certifiers, so the certification itself stays with your auditor.
